Setting Up the Walls.io App
The Walls.io app can be added to a Collection.
Adding via a Collection
Open a Collection and click the Apps tab.
Select Explore Apps.
Find Walls.io in the app list and click it to view details.
Click + Create to start setting it up.
Configuring the app
App Settings
Setting | Description |
Name | The name of your Walls.io app instance. |
URL | Required. The public-facing link to your Walls.io wall. |
Theme | Fluid, Bricks, Kiosk, Billboard, Grid, or Map. Adjusts how your content appears on screen. |
Show Header | If enabled, displays the wall's header and branding on screen. |
Auto Scroll | If enabled, automatically scrolls through your posts. Only available with the Fluid and Grid themes. |
Getting Your Walls.io Wall Link
Go to Walls.io and log into your account.
Create a social wall, or open one you've already built. See the Walls.io Help Center for guidance on this step.
From your Walls.io dashboard, open the wall you want to display.
Copy the public-facing link for that wall, for example
https://my.walls.io/yourwall.
Walls.io requires its own account and paid subscription, separate from your Arc login. If you don't already have one, sign up for a free 14-day trial to explore its features first.
Click Save New App once your settings are complete.
Showing the Walls.io App on a Screen
The Walls.io app is added within a Collection, so it reaches a screen when that Collection is assigned to one.
Open your Collection and select the Screens tab.
Click Connect a screen to see your available paired screens.
Select the screen you want. The Collection, including your Walls.io app, will begin playing there.
