Setting Up the Stocks & Exchanges App
Stocks & Exchanges is a Layout app and cannot be added to a Collection.
Adding via a Layout
Click Layouts in the left-hand menu.
Click the Layout Apps tab.
Scroll to Explore Apps for Layouts and find the Stocks & Exchanges card.
Click the plus sign on it, or click the card and then click +Create in the preview window.
Configuring the app
App Settings
Setting | Description |
Name | The name of your Stocks & Exchanges app instance. Defaults to "Stocks & Exchanges." |
Title | Optional. A short heading to display above your data, for example "Stocks." |
Stock symbols | Required. The ticker symbol for each stock, crypto, index, or currency pair to show, for example TSLA, AAPL, NVDA. Separate each symbol with a comma. |
Display title | Toggles whether the Title (if set) appears on screen. |
Once your stock symbols are entered, click Save New App. A confirmation message displays: "App instance created successfully."
Showing the Stocks & Exchanges App on a Screen
Stocks & Exchanges is a Layout app, so it reaches a screen through the Layout it's added to.
Go to Screens and select the screen you want to update.
Open the screen's settings panel.
Adjust its Layout setting to the Layout containing your Stocks & Exchanges app.

Yes, the app supports both landscape and portrait mode.
How often does the app receive new data?
The app checks for updated stock information every seven minutes.
Does the app track long-term price history?
No, the app doesn't track long-term changes to stocks and exchanges over time.
