Set up the Flight Schedules app to display live airport arrivals and departures on your ScreenCloud Arc screens.

The ScreenCloud Flight Schedules app lists live arrivals and departures for any airport you choose, updated in real time and styled to mimic a traditional airport flipboard display.

Setting Up the Flight Schedules App

The Flight Schedules app can be added to a Collection.

Adding via a Collection

  • Go to Collections.

  • Select the Collection you want to add the app to, or create a new one.

  • Click the Apps tab, then Add app.

  • Select Flight Schedules from the list of apps, then click Create.

Description

Name

The name of your Flight Schedules app instance.

Airport code (IATA or ICAO)

The airport to pull data for, entered as an IATA code (3 letters, for example LAX) or ICAO code (4 letters, for example KLAX).

Departures/Arrivals

Choose whether the app displays Arrivals or Departures.

Display flights as

Choose whether flight numbers are displayed in IATA or ICAO format.

Animations

If enabled, flight rows use a flip-board style transition when updating. If disabled, the board updates instantly with no transition effect.

Flight data is provided by Aviation Edge, a third-party service. Accuracy and completeness of the data cannot be guaranteed; for the latest information before travel, always check directly with your airline.

Click Save New App once you've configured your settings.


Showing the Flight Schedules App on a Screen

The Flight Schedules app is added within a Collection, so it reaches a screen when that Collection is assigned to one.

  1. Open your Collection and select the Screens tab.

  2. Click Connect a screen to see your available paired screens.

  3. Select the screen you want. The Collection, including your Flight Schedules app, will begin playing there.

What source is the data displayed based on?

ScreenCloud's Flight Schedules app is powered by data from Aviation Edge. This is accurate to the best intention, but cannot be completely guaranteed. For the latest travel information, always check directly with your airline.

Does the app show real-time data for delays or flight emergencies?

Delays are shown in the app, reflecting any updates from the integration used to display flight data in real time. ScreenCloud relies on data from Aviation Edge, and can only display the data as provided to our system.

How can I change or remove a Flight Schedules app?

You can edit your app instance at any time to change the airport code or other settings, or delete it entirely. If you delete it, it will stop displaying on any screens it was set up on.

Does the app work in portrait mode?

Yes, the app works in both portrait and landscape orientation.
