Most login problems come down to using the wrong method to sign in, or a password issue with the account you originally signed up with. Start by confirming which method you use, then follow the steps for that method below.
1. Confirm Your Login Method
Check which method you used when you first signed up:
Email
Google
Microsoft
If you don't remember, try signing in with your email address first. If that doesn't work, see the FAQ below.
2. Resetting Your Password (Email Login)
If you signed up with email and need to reset your password:
Enter your email address.
Click Continue with email.
Click Reset password.
Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
Tip: If you don't see the email, check your Spam or Junk folder. Also make sure you can receive emails from the domains @screencloud.io and @screencloud.com.
3. Resetting Your Password (Google or Microsoft Login)
If you signed in with Google or Microsoft, your password is managed by that provider, not by ScreenCloud. ScreenCloud doesn't store or have access to passwords for these accounts.
Reset your password directly through your Google or Microsoft account, then return to the sign in screen and continue as usual.
4. Entering Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Code
If MFA is turned on for your account, you'll be asked for a verification code every time you log in, in addition to your password. This applies whether you sign in with email, Google, or Microsoft.
Sign in with your email and password, or complete Google or Microsoft sign in, as usual.
Open your authenticator app.
Enter the current code shown in the app.
For help setting up or turning off MFA, see Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your ScreenCloud Account Login.
