Connect your Simpplr account and select which site you want to share, and which type of content to pull from it. Publish a post, event, or album in Simpplr and it appears on your chosen screens automatically — no duplicate content to manage, and no manual step to move it across.

You can add a QR code to a post so employees can scan it for secure, instant access to the full story back in Simpplr, or show dynamic event and image galleries to keep viewers engaged.

Unify Internal Comms for Everyone

If Simpplr is already your intranet, this extends your most important announcements, news, and events to any screen in the building, including areas where deskless and frontline teams, who may not have a company email or regular intranet access, will actually see them.

In your Collection:

Each feed connects to a single site and a single content type. If you want to display more than one, such as Site Posts and Events, or content from two different sites, set up a separate feed for each combination — see Single Source Limit in Connecting Feeds to Your Screens.

For the Collection that has your Simpplr Feed, assign it to a paired screen:

It will play in the Main zone of the screen, provided the screen already has a Layout assigned.

Simpplr-side credentials: Connecting requires a Simpplr Identity API URL, Client ID, and Client Secret. You'll need access to Simpplr's admin or integration settings, or someone on your team who has it, to generate these before you can complete the connection in Arc.

Sites: Each feed pulls from one Simpplr site at a time, so decide in advance which site or sites you want represented on screen.

If these credentials haven't already been generated, an admin will need to create a client application in the Simpplr Admin console:

Simpplr then generates a Client ID, Client Secret, OAuth Authorization URL, and OAuth Token URL for the connection. Keep these on hand for the next step; you can find them again later by opening the client application in Simpplr and selecting Edit.

Depending on which Content type you select when setting up the feed, you can pull through Site Posts, Recognition Posts, News Posts, Knowledge Posts, Events, or Albums from the site you connect. Each feed displays one content type from one site; add another feed if you want to combine more than one.

Only the Summary field of a Simpplr post is shown on screen; the full body text is not displayed. Make sure the summary captures the key message on its own, since that's all your audience will see. A QR code is how they'd get to the rest.

Only images that were actually added to the post itself will display. If a post relies on an image pulled in automatically from a template, that template image is replaced with the Site's own image instead, so don't rely on template imagery to carry a post's visual.

If a post has an embedded public video, the video plays behind the post's text.

For Album posts, up to four images display at a time, drawn from the album's 10 most recent images, with a new random selection shown each time the post appears on screen.

A QR code can be added to a post, linking back to the full story in Simpplr for anyone who wants to read past the summary.

Once the Feed is connected, you have several ways to control which Simpplr posts end up on screen, and to review or adjust them afterwards.

Use AI Instructions to control what comes through from the site before it reaches your screens. Write your own instruction or choose from the built-in templates to rewrite, filter, or translate posts as they arrive. For a Simpplr site, this could mean:

You can test an instruction against your existing Simpplr posts before saving it, to see exactly which posts it would show or hide.

From the Collection's Posts view, you can manage individual posts the Feed has already created:

Since the Feed only reads content from Simpplr, none of these actions change or remove the original post in Simpplr, the connection is read-only.

Every post the Feed creates appears in the Collection's Posts view alongside your manual posts, where you can filter the view by Feed of origin to see only the posts pulled in from Simpplr. Each post also has its own Preview option, so you can check exactly how it'll look on screen before it plays.

Why is the wrong image from my post displaying?

Only images added directly to the post will display. If an image was pulled in from a template rather than added to the post itself, it's replaced by the Site's own image.

Which text from the Simpplr post displays on screen?

Only the Summary field is shown on screen. Make sure your summary captures the key message of your post, since that's what your audience will see.
