In your Collection:

Each feed connects to a single, fixed set of Topics. If you want to show campaigns from a different Topic selection, set up a separate feed — see Single Source Limit in Connecting Feeds to Your Screens.

Once a Firstup feed has been saved, the connection and Topic selection can't be changed from the feed's edit screen. To pull from a different selection, create a new feed instead.

If you need the Feed to pick up new or changed campaigns right away rather than waiting for its next automatic check, you can force a refresh by recreating the feed with the same credentials.

For the Collection that has your Firstup Feed, assign it to a paired screen:

It will play in the Main zone of the screen, provided the screen already has a Layout assigned.

You'll need to be an existing Firstup customer to use this Feed. Contact your Firstup account team to purchase access to the integration if you aren't already set up.

Connecting doesn't use a login. Instead, you'll need a Client ID and Client Secret from Firstup. Reach out to Firstup's CX Operations Team to have these issued.

The Feed displays Campaigns assigned to the Topic or Topics you selected when setting it up.

Article (text), image, link, and video campaign blocks are supported. For an article campaign, only the first title and the first text body block are displayed; any other blocks in the same campaign aren't shown.

A video uploaded directly to Firstup plays all the way through before the Feed advances to the next post. A linked video, rather than one uploaded directly, only plays its first 10 seconds before advancing.

Links and documents included in a campaign appear on screen as a scannable QR code rather than displaying directly.

Once the Feed is connected, you have several ways to control which Firstup campaigns end up on screen, and to review or adjust them afterwards.

Use AI Instructions to control what comes through from your selected Topics before it reaches your screens. Write your own instruction or choose from the built-in templates to rewrite, filter, or translate campaigns as they arrive. For a Firstup feed, this could mean:

You can test an instruction against your existing Firstup posts before saving it, to see exactly which posts it would show or hide.

From the Collection's Posts view, you can manage individual posts the Feed has already created:

Since the Feed only reads campaigns from Firstup, none of these actions change or remove the original campaign in Firstup, the connection is read-only.

Every post the Feed creates appears in the Collection's Posts view alongside your manual posts, where you can filter the view by Feed of origin to see only the posts pulled in from Firstup. Each post also has its own Preview option, so you can check exactly how it'll look on screen before it plays.
